1. Steer Clear Of Cotton

It is vital to consider the material; of the socks when looking for running socks. You should never pick cotton socks. This is because cotton is absorbent and it will keep moisture locked in when you sweat or step in a puddle. The dampness will result in blisters and foot odor due to bacteria.

Most people buy cotton socks because they are cheaper than synthetic materials that are designed to keep moisture out. However, the right running clothes are worth investing in. Socks generally come in four varying lengths. The types include knee length (sits below the knee), crew length (comes up to the calf), socklet (sits just overhead the shoe line), and anklet which sits on your ankle.

The length you choose will depend on the training intensity, the current weather, and your personal preferences.
