Earning our plural.

Savvy readers may have been wondering about a few things. Why is the title of our blog plural when we only have one kid? Why did we make a sappy post about walking H home from the hospital when that was a long time ago? What’s up with the two-kid bicycle seat? (10 points to the anonymous commenter)

It’s true. If all goes well, we will be a family of four this summer. We are expecting our second, due mid-June.

Thus far, we do find the pregnancy is cramping our car-free style a bit. But we figure if we can survive and thrive during pregnancy+toddler, and later baby+toddler without a car, we will have truly proven it is possible to be happily car-free with kids, at least little ones.

About Nathan

Nathan lives in North Cambridge, MA with his wife and two kids, and prefers never to be in cars if he can avoid it. Nathan thinks parenting is way more fun when you don't have to worry about car seats.

Thanks!! We’re counting down the days until we get to put both kids on the xtracycle (only about a year and a half of them to go…)

I cant wait till we have another (its an excuse to buy more bike stuff!) I’m very jealous of the xtracycle and the double seat.

PS Lovely blog. I’ll be “following” you guys (in the google sense)

Thanks Cycledad! It’s always nice to “meet” another biking parent.

  4. Congratulations! We love babies!
